An arrow in my yard

I had to take a minute to write about the arrow in my yard. Last Sunday, Josie found an arrow with a very sharp point on it stuck in our grass. I am so glad that she didn't cut herself on it. I figured it came from one of the boys next door and I was right. I took Hailey to get lunch today and that boy was desperately trying to avoid eye contact with me. I decided to have a little fun with him and ask him if he would like his arrow back. After almost choking on his smoothie, he responded that yes he would like it back and that he was very sorry for shooting it into our yard. I so love teenage kids. They are always so fun to tease!!

A Blog Loser

I had all but forgotten about this blog that I set up when we first moved to St. Johns. We have been here almost 2 years now. Wow how time flies!! We have learned so many important lessons in the last two years. I would just like to list a few so that I will remember them. Heavenly Father is completely and totally in charge. He desires to bless us. If you are having a hard time, find someone else to serve. Kids become better little people when they do not get everything they want. Trials always bring amazing blessings. Budgeting is vital! When things get tough, you will see true colors come out in everyone around you. Life is amazing and beautiful!!

I am going to give this blog thing another try and I hope I will be better at posting. Life gets so busy but it is so important to write about what is going on. So here's to better blogging in the future!!!
